Space Man was inspired by Daniel Caesar’s album Case Study 01. I’ve interpreted this album as being other worldly, almost mystical. Playing with the title, I decided to manipulate an image of a man being beamed up becoming Case Study 01 to extraterrestrial beings.

Kill Bill was inspired SZA’s album SOS. “I just killed my ex” reoccurs repetitively throughout the song. I was inspired to create a gritty and edgy poster to illustrate the emotion and anger behind this world renowned song Kill Bill.

DVSN is known for his very elaborate album covers, I was inspired to make a collage-like poster showcasing them while creating interesting hierarchy of type and visual manipulation.

“You’ve grown up baby queen” is a lyric in the Gorillaz newest song Baby Queen. I’ve always been fascinated by the Gorillaz artwork and how they portray members of the band with illustrative characters. The use of this bright pink is used frequently within their album artwork so I decided to incorporate it, as well as add a warn and textured poster feel with elements of their logo and icons.

I chose a more stylistic approach to this poster with the use of bright pink and a bold chunky type.
